Is Monument Membership closing?

Yes. After careful consideration, on 24 March 2026 we decided to discontinue Monument Membership.

We're currently redesigning Monument Lifestyle, which will return shortly, and Net Worth, which will return later this year. We'll share any relevant updates to our product range as they’re introduced.

When does my Membership end?

If you have a Membership Subscription as of 24 March 2026, this will now end on 26 May 2026. All members should have received an email making them aware of this. You'll continue to have full access to your Membership Saver, Net Worth and Lifestyle Services until this date. If you wish to close your Monument Membership before 26 May 2026, you can do this via the app. See “How do I cancel my Membership?”

In acknowledgement of your loyalty as a Monument client, we’re waiving all Membership Fees between 24 March 2026 and when your Membership ends. No further fees will be taken from your Membership Saver account.

What happens to the funds in my Membership Saver account when Monument Membership closes?

Your Membership Saver account will remain open, with the applicable Membership Saver interest rate, until 26 May 2026.

At any time before then, you can move your funds into another Monument account or your Linked Account via the app.

On 26 May 2026, any remaining funds - including accrued interest - will be transferred into your Monument Easy Access Savings account. If you don't have one, we'll open one for you and transfer your funds into it.

This account will be subject to the Easy Access Savings Accounts Terms, and your funds will earn interest at the applicable Easy Access rate.

What happens to my Lifestyle bookings and subscriptions when Monument Membership ends?

Any services you've already booked through Monument Lifestyle, and any you book between now and 26 May 2026 that are due to be provided after this date, will be honoured by Monument or the relevant Lifestyle Partner (subject to their terms and conditions).

Any subscriptions provided through Monument Membership - including with the Financial Times - will remain active until their individual expiry dates.

From 26 May 2026, you won't be able to access, book or subscribe to new Lifestyle Services through your Monument Membership.

What happens to my Net Worth data when Monument Membership ends?

From 26 May 2026, you'll no longer be able to access the Net Worth dashboard or section within the Monument app. Except where otherwise provided by law or regulation, all data relating to your connected accounts will be deleted from our systems at that point.

If you’d like to retain the insights generated by Net Worth, you can screenshot them in the app. We’re not able to decrypt or export this data to you.

Where can I find the Membership Terms, and how long can I access my statements?

The Membership Terms can be found here on our website.

They’re also available in the app under “More” and “Legal Information”. If you wish to keep a copy for your own records, please download them before 26 May 2026.

You’ll be able to access your Membership Saver statements in the app for 12 months from closure.

How do I cancel my Membership?

You can end your Membership Subscription at anytime within the Monument app.

  1. Open your Monument app.
  2. Tap 'More' (bottom right corner).
  3. Under Membership, tap 'Manage account'.
  4. Tap 'Cancel Membership'.

Following your request to end your Membership Subscription, you'll retain access to your Membership Saver and the Membership Services until the next scheduled Payment Date. When your Membership Subscription ends, your Membership Saver will close. We'll also confirm this by email to you.

If, at the time your Membership Saver is closed there is any money left in your account, we'll transfer your money (including any accrued interest) to your Easy Access Savings Account if you have one. If you don't have an Easy Access Savings Account, we'll open one for you and we'll transfer the money to this account.

After your Membership Subscription ends, you'll no longer be able to use Membership Services.
